Position Overview:

Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) is seeking an experienced and talented Technical Integration Consultant. You will own and drive the technical integration discussions with a multitude of white label affiliate partners from a high level concept design to operational delivery and beyond. You will work closely with our Business Development and Account Management organization and will report into EAN’s Technical Support team. Passion for travel, a passion for technology and technology expertise combined with superb communication skills and business insight are critical to a Technical Integration Consultant’s success.


  • Support of affiliate partner and technical team development efforts
  • Effectively design, communicate, monitor, analyze, and approve API program usage guidelines and requirements
  • Analyze and solve highly complex technical integration problems and propose effective solutions
  • Provide functional/technical assistance/guidance where required
  • Support technical integration discussions with key affiliate partners in person and virtually
  • Collaborate with, assist, and coach the Level 1/2 support team with complex issues that require direct contact with top partners
  • Actively seeks opportunities to expand the interface as a product line
  • Work with team members to define the product and design various uses of the program, advise how the product should be or will be used with specific expectations and business models of partners
  • Advise on API program with technical teams for functional aspects, enhancements, modifications, and scalability
  • Communicate complex technical details to technical and non-technical customers
  • Perform Quality Assurance tests on API sites prior to implementation


  • Bachelor's degree (Science Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred)
  • Fluent in common oral/written Portuguese, Spanish and English is required
  • Proficient with APIs and SQL as related to other programming languages
  • Deliver high quality and workable solutions for technical issues
  • Communicate technical specifications and solve problems without supervision
  • Creatively tackle challenging business/technology problems
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize feature work effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Familiarity with web-based and mobile based product development and understanding of typical technology architecture for high-volume web sites
  • Available for up to 30% travel per year
  • Technical consultancy experience in Online Travel preferred but not required
