Who you are:

We’re looking for a Sr. Front End Engineer who is passionate about technology, has experience building scalable and robust solutions and can set the direction of our front-end framework & platform. As a Sr. Engineer on the team, you work with a talented group of engineers, designers and product managers and enable them to build new and innovative features for our travel platform.

Core Responsibilities:

  • You evaluate and recommend technology, tools, and frameworks.
  • You enable and support multiple front-end teams in the design and development of elegant client-facing web solutions.
  • You communicate complex technical solutions to a variety of stakeholders.
  • You interact and work with cross-functional teams to research and resolve production issues.
  • You mentor junior Engineers on our team.

Desired Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) is required. Master's degree (M.S.) is preferred.
  • You have at least 7 years of software development experience paired with 2+ years’ experience leading technical design and implementations.
  • Highly proficient in object-oriented JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS3, JSP and JSTL.
  • Experience with AngularJS (or similar JavaScript MVC framework), responsive web design, Bootstrap (or similar CSS framework).
  • Adept at maintaining cross-browser compatibility and debugging.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with proven ability to communicate complex ideas.
  • Ability to write clean, coherent code and follow established coding conventions.
  • You are results-oriented and proactive with proven leadership skills.
  • Prior experience at another fast-paced internet or eCommerce company, especially travel companies, is a big plus.
