Who you are:

  • You are an accomplished, experienced manager who excels at influencing business leaders and managers through data-driven analyses and insights. Advanced educational qualification in, and experience with, statistical modeling & analysis, complex computational methods & techniques is highly desirable.
  • You hold a relevant advanced degree - Masters required, Ph.D. preferred
  • You have 6 – 9 years of experience in an Analytics field (possibly in combination with relevant education)
  • You can collaborate across various levels of the organization and business leadership
  • You have built and led a global quantitative & consultative team
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written
  • Travel industry and/or eCommerce experience is desirable but not required

What you will do / Role & Responsibilities:

  • You will lead, inspire and motivate a global team to deliver strategic and ad hoc analyses and insight. To succeed, you will collaborate across various functions & levels of the organization and business leadership to discuss, define, and execute the plan to support GCO’s Objectives and Key Results.
  • You will guide the team in utilizing appropriate business and data science methods and techniques to develop analytics models and solutions for GCO’s needs
  • You will support, influence and challenge business decisions with relevant & timely analyses
  • You will support, engage with, and influence GCO leaders and managers from Product, Line-of-Business, Finance, and Service Delivery, to name a few, from Expedia’s multiple brands through data-driven insight
  • You will collaborate & partner closely with the various data teams (infrastructure, reporting, etc.), ensuring high data integrity, availability, and reporting and analyses progress symbiotically
