Expedia is currently recruiting for a Direct Debit Coordinator to help promote this choice of payment method. Working alongside the Finance team, the successful individual will be responsible for processes relating to Direct Debit registrations. The key focus of this role is to urge eligible hotels to complete the direct debit registration process. You will have strong sales skills; including excellent communication and listening skills with the goal of building positive relationships. You should be self-motivated, naturally outgoing and understand the art of persuasion & skillful negotiation during the conversation.

Who are you:

  • You have a minimum of one-year experience in sales or a similar position
  • You are fluent in the required language with the ability to speak English
  • You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • To possess an understanding of the processes relating to Direct Debit registrations and collections is highly preferred
  • You have a deep understanding of basic computer programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Have excellent attention to detail and the highest levels of accuracy
  • You possess superb problem-solving, analytical and mathematical skills

What you will do/role & responsibility:

  • Handling the direct debit registration and collections process, while you are building effective working relationships with clients
  • Working within a high functioning team you will be supported to suggest improvements to current processes
  • Collaborate with Market Managers, PAC/GSO team, corporate contacts, and properties on escalated issues
  • Ensure company and departmental policies are followed
  • Manage assigned account base in regard to commission collections, maintain up-to-date contact information for hotels assigned to you
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned
