Field Sales, Small Accounts

As a Field Sales, Small Accounts (SME) professional, you will work out of our corporate office in Bellevue, WA.  You will be responsible for establishing relationships and securing a Corporate Client base with annual Gross Booking volumes of $2M or less, that will utilize Egencia for all of their travel needs. The position is designed to quickly increase Egencia’ s market share in the Corporate space by your cold calling prospective accounts, negotiating and closing corporate agreements, demonstrating Egencia’ s superior technology and traditional travel distribution channel.

Who You Are:

  • You have 2+ years of experience in sales
  • Your excellent with written and verbal communication
  • You have strong social, relationship building and team building skills
  • Ability to communicate technical product features effectively
  • Knowledge and/or passion for the travel industry
  • Prior experience selling software packages or technical services to the small sized business market (preferred)

What You’ll Do:

  • You will sell new corporate accounts on the value proposition of the Egencia suite of products and services
  • You will communicate the value of "on-line booking" to these clients in an effort to improve greater adoption of the online booking tool, and generate incremental revenue for Expedia
  • You will meet and exceed annual quota's for Egencia bookings
  • You will deploy prospecting strategies to gain new Egencia customers
  • You will respond to leads generated from Expedia's concentrated marketing efforts and personally develop self- generated prospects to maintain an active pipeline
  • You will maintain an updated sales pipeline through automated sales management tools as provided by Egencia
  • You will collaborate with Marketing, Business Development and IT to ensure product differentiation is maintained
  • You will cross sell opportunities utilizing Expedia products and services
  • You will enthusiastically telemarket, answer inquiries and resolve problems, and assess needs
