In this newly created role, H.com is seeking an HR Programme and People Analytics expert to support and participate in the delivery of key people activities that drive continued success for this growing organization.

This role is based in London and has a dual reporting line to the Senior HR Director, Hotels.com and to the VP HR Hotels.com & Expedia Partner Solutions.

What you'll do:

  • Identify, design and lead key programs, processes and initiatives that deliver value for the business and HR to enable continuous improvement and employee engagement. This would include Talent and Performance Reviews, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives with specific focus on Gender and Learning and Development initiatives.
  • Develop and lead on all people analytics and data requirements.
  • Provide regular reports (dashboards / scorecards) bringing visibility, uncovering insight and driving performance across the team. Including:
    • Developing narratives around key themes and creating Exec level ready presentations to tell the story.
    • Regular management reporting and project reviews
    • Trends analysis, forecasting and planning for projects
    • Define reporting to make it a way of life for the team
  • Anticipate information needs, identify gaps and organize data to enable trend identification and problem resolution so that we continue to operate in an agile way
  • Partner with HR and reporting teams, business and finance functions to successfully drive data and supporting frameworks on identified topics.
  • Creatively communicate recommendations and initiatives to Management and to the broader organization; deliver presentations with a “wow factor” 

Who you are:

You will fit this role if you have:

  • Excellent HR programme and project management ability.
  • Ability to manage, frame and package global programmes across several locations, times zones and business areas.
  • First class analytical thinking and attention to detail applied in a people context with the ability to tell compelling stories around identified key themes.
  • Ability to interpret business insights and present data in a visually compelling format to various audiences
  • Raise above ambiguity and have the ability to make decisions and create best practice ways of working in a constantly changing environment.
  • Great interpersonal and relationship skills with a ‘can-do’ attitude.  
  • Thrives on learning and curiosity and the pursuit of exceptional results.
  • A self-starter who can both work independently, to achieve multiple priorities and be a true team player as needed to ensure we succeed together.
  • Shown ability to handle many conflicting tasks, and deliver against rapidly changing priorities
  • You adapt well to and are energized by change, whilst maintaining focus on key business goals and objectives

Systems Experience:

  • You have excellent Excel and data manipulation skills; having experience with coding (SQL, Python) would be a plus.
  • You are confident in learning new analytical tools (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Trifacta)

Other:

  • A degree or Higher Education Qualification
