In this newly created role supporting both Hotels.com and Expedia Partner Solutions divisions, we are seeking an HR People Analytics and reporting expert to support and participate in the delivery of key people activities that drive continued success for these growing organizations.

This role is based in London and has a dual reporting line to the Senior HR Director, Hotels.com and to the VP HR Hotels.com & Expedia Partner Solutions.  It will also have a strong dotted line relationship to the HR Director, Expedia Partner Solutions.

What you'll do:

Data Reporting

  • Develop and lead on all people analytics and data requirements.
    • Design & build reporting requirements (dashboards / scorecards) bringing visibility, uncovering insight and driving performance across the team. Including:
    • Anticipation, identification, defining and delivering data needs and reporting to make it a way of life for the team
    • Trends analysis, forecasting and planning for projects
    • Regular management reporting and project reviews
  • Partner with HR, people analytics, business and finance functions to successfully drive data and supporting frameworks on identified topics.
  • Mine the data to discover the key themes and actions that will make the biggest impact to business success.
  • Develop narratives and data led communications in an easy to understand and impactful way that drives for action working closely with the HR Programme Manager.

    Data led Programmes

  • Lead the consolidation of Rate Your Stay people survey data streams to create meaningful outputs and standardize and simplify approaches where possible.
  • Take ownership for diversity and inclusion tracking metrics and supporting related programmes
  • Develop tracking of learning and development iniatives to support monitoring outcomes and deliverables
  • Lead on running pulse surveys to measure success of people or culture driven initiatives
  • First line response to HR Ops and HR Country HR on data related challenges.  
  • Own specific projects that are driven by Division specific challenges

  • Ability to interpret business insights and present data in a visually compelling format to various audiences

  • Great interpersonal and relationship skills with a ‘can-do’ attitude.

  • A self-starter who can both work independently, to achieve multiple priorities and be a true team player as needed to ensure we succeed together.
  • Shown ability to handle many conflicting tasks, and deliver against rapidly changing priorities
  • You adapt well to and are energized by change, whilst maintaining focus on key business goals and objectives

Systems Experience

  • You have excellent Excel and data manipulation skills; having experience with coding (SQL, Python) would be a plus.
  • You are confident in learning new analytical tools (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Trifacta)
