We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated intern to join the Hotels.com Mobile team and support on a range of programmes to drive bookings, engagement and customer acquisition across our apps and responsive sites.

The Hotels.com Mobile Marketing team is responsible for leveraging our mobile platforms to drive our business forward.  The team advocates for and drives mobile growth, engagement and bookings. We utilise our own channels (paid user acquisition, on-site download placements, app deep link re-engagement and organic download optimisation), as well as working with partners and the other marketing channels to aid them in growing mobile.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct competitor and industry research on the travel and mobile landscape
  • Monitor performance and trends in key metrics. With the support of the analytics team, you will help investigate week-to-week and long term patterns for mobile performance
  • Use third party tools to monitor and learn from changes competitors and eCommerce leaders are making in the app store, and uncover insights in the metadata for app store optimisation
  • Work with the product team and marketing channels to aid success on a large range of app-specific projects
  • Present initiatives and investigations to leadership, the wider mobile marketing and product teams
  • Support the immediate team on ongoing projects that help define the app’s value proposition, establish the joint product-marketing roadmap and understand customer insights

Who you are:

You’ll fit this role if you have:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree studying a Business or Marketing related subject
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to problem solve
  • An organised approach to your work with a professional get it done attitude and work ethic
  • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint- basic Photoshop/Equivalent skills are a plus but not essential
  • A real passion for mobile and the digital marketing industry
