Are you a nimble problem solver and passionate about business process improvement?

We are looking for a motivated, Marketing Operations Analyst to support the Acquisition Marketing and Affiliate Marketing channels at Hotels.com. These channels provide Hotels.com a global presence in various performance marketing channels. We work directly with partners like Kayak and serve as their technical point of contact. You will have the responsibility to continuously monitor and improve the technical integration of existing partners and onboard new partners. More specifically, you will configure and provide API connections, data feeds, tracking, and deep-linking to land customers on Hotels.com.

You will take on complex problems, use large amounts of data to drive insights, interact with a broad set of partners and have the ability to influence decision-making.

What You'll Do

  • Act as technical point of contact for new partners, helping them integrate with Hotels.com (through hotel search APIs and content feeds). You will also be responsible for improving the quality of existing integrations
  • You will improve the onboarding process to reduce the time it takes for technical integration, as well as create and execute strategies to avoid technical issues
  • Investigating and resolving any technical problems partners may face. You will act as the first line of support for issues, investigate root causes and devise solutions, either independently or with the help of other teams
  • Handle internal relationships with key technical support teams

Who you are

You’ll fit this role if you have

  • Bachelor's degree or higher with a business, information science or data background
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience working in online marketing or related field
  • Experience improving business processes
  • Proficiency with APIs and basic to intermediate SQL
  • Excellent written communication
  • Excellent MS Excel skills, and know your way around other MS Office products
  • Experience with marketing analytics tool (Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics or similar) a plus but not mandatory
  • Detail driven – you demonstrate a solid attention to detail and accuracy
  • Problem solver – you have a passion for ‘detective work’ and have strong problem-solving skills and ability to logically analyze complex processes and data sets and put solutions in place
  • Self-starter - able to independently manage and prioritize your own workload on a daily basis
  • Team player - able to work with others globally to get the job done
  • Positive attitude, and a genuine interest in working in a dynamic, environment and wearing multiple hats as needed
  • Good interpersonal skills and you work well within a team
