Offer & Pricing Strategy Manager

We are seeking a hardworking professional to join our global Marketing team. This team is chartered with creating value for our customers and for Egencia by defining new – and optimizing existing – commercial offerings and monetization models, and driving overall pricing strategy.

Reporting to the Director of Offer & Pricing Management, this Offer & Pricing Strategy Manager will develop new offerings, business models, define monetization strategies, and optimize pricing and packaging for existing products.

The is a highly collaborative role. You'll work cross-functionally to build business cases for new offers and create pricing and commercialization models.

What You Will Do:

  • You display a strong understanding of our customers and how they use Egencia products and services. You develop offers that create customer value across our different customer segments
  • Create and optimize new offers and monetization/pricing models and initiatives from strategy to execution
  • Evolve pricing models based on customer value/willingness-to-pay, competitive landscape and business strategy
  • Utilize sales and product usage data to develop key insights and recommendations to inform offer and pricing strategy
  • Partner closely with Product, Product Marketing, Sales and Account Management to launch new services and features, to understand customer value and willingness to pay, and to decide what should be monetized as part of different offerings
  • Recommend and rationalize company list price changes as needed, according to competitive/customer dynamics, as well as margin considerations
  • Distill marketplace feedback (sales, account management, competitors) and recommend coherent market specific pricing strategies. You'll also monitor and recommend responses to competitive price moves

What You Bring:

  • 5-8 years’ experience with pricing, strategy, product marketing or other data driven role in technology companies
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science or related discipline; or equivalent professional experience
  • You are a data-led decision-maker with strong analytical skills. You have proven experience structuring and analyzing ambiguous and complex business problems, combining and analyzing relevant data from multiple data sources and communicating actionable insights
  • You are a persuasive communicator. You simplify complex concepts for wide audience including executives. You build strong relationships and can influence a diverse audiences
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment yet can deliver in a highly organized way with keen attention to detail and quality
  • Your intellectual curiosity helps you understand what drives the business while superior problem-solving skills, self-motivation and the capacity to work under tight deadlines with limited guidance help you deliver
