Expedia has invested twice the amount on technology advancement in the last year than any of Egencia’s competitors and this means we’re growing, and growing fast. We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to be an integral part of Egencia’ s fast-paced and hardworking Global FP&A team.

As a member of the Global FP&A team you will play a critical role in providing senior leadership with insight into the financial performance of the organization through data-driven analysis and the reporting of key operational and financial metrics and KPIs. You will work closely with cross functional business partners and focus on analyzing financial data and identifying key trends behind the performance of the business, discussing business performance and forecast assumptions with senior management, and generating reports that provide commentary and recommendations around key financial and business issues.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist in the preparation of summary review materials in support of monthly management reports, variance analyses, trend analysis and financial review documents, ensuring financial reports accurately reflect results
  • Partner with senior management to provide insights into the business’ financial performance and perform ad-hoc/scenario analysis and deep dives to help drive decision-making
  • Develop and update complex financial models in support of business needs
  • Analyze and understand different business function requirements, processes and operating models as well as the tools and technology in place to support FP&A and the business
  • Actively seek out opportunities to enhance existing deliverables and services to improve business insight
  • Drive change and process improvement through collaboration with stakeholders

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in accounting, finance, business or other quantitative fields is required
  • 2+ years of work experience in a similar analytical or financial planning role
  • Passion for Excel modeling with excellent data-management, and presentation skills; familiarity with financial reporting software (Hyperion/Oracle) a plus
  • Ability to deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; works well under pressure; extremely organized with the ability to work on and manage multiple projects within tight time lines
  • Innovative thinking and vision, ability to analyze problems, create a framework for approach, and propose solutions
  • Adaptable to change in a dynamic operating environment
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative financial skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to influence others
