We are looking for a Travel Consultant to support and assist our clients with planning all details of travel, including arranging and or booking air, rail, hotel, car reservations both domestically and internationally. You will be joining a winning team that is passionate about providing great service to achieve and exceed customer expectations.

What you’ll do

  • Handle all inbound calls/emails in the highest level of professionalism and efficiency
  • Provide best in class customer service and create the WOW experiences to turn our clients into our loyal brand ambassadors
  • Deliver First Contact Resolution through anticipating customers’ needs and providing value added solutions
  • Contribute to centre service standards and performance metrics targets
  • Adhere to company service guidelines, promote and sell corporate-contracts and preferred suppliers
  • Effectively use all computer systems and tools to ensure consistency and adhere to processes and procedures
  • Make recommendations to clients, e.g., efficient and alternate routes, lowest available fares, booking class, exchange rates, and travel products and services
  • Serve as a customer liaison between clients and contracted and preferred suppliers
  • Additional responsibilities may include, customer service issue follow-up and resolution, visa and/or passport processing, voids, refunds, exchanges, and split ticketing
  • Train, develop and mentor less experienced team members
  • Any adhoc initiatives as assigned by leaders

Who you are

  • Prioritize, multi-task, and strong time management skills
  • Opinionated and willing to challenge the status quo
  • Flexibility to work and help out with different shifts when needed.
  • Knowledge of travel Global Distribution System (GDS) is a nice to have
