Manager, SME Sales South Germany (m/f/d)

We are looking to hire a Manager, SME Sales South Germany (m/f/d) based in Munich at Expedia Group's Business Travel brand

What you will do:

Reporting to the Head of SME Sales EMEA, you will be leading a team of SME B2B Field Sales Managers in the South of Germany.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the sales management for your region, such as:

  • Defining and implementing the sales strategy to beat sales targets
  • Managing and leading the sales team for the region South Germany
  • Managing sales activity (reporting, pipeline, KPIs, sales forecasts, etc.)
  • Coaching, training and supporting team and thereby enabling team members to increase their conversion rates (organization, sales skills, social selling & cross-functional collaboration, solution sales approach, pitching, closing)

Who you are :

  • You have a masters degree from a business school or similar
  • You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in sales and 3 years in a sales management position in a technology-driven, competitive environment
  • You combine strong knowledge of sales techniques with excellent written and oral communication and leadership skills
  • You have no problem to adapt to a dynamic environment, constantly learning and reiterating until you reach the goal with your team
  • As a leader you can inspire, coach and train your team to reach excellency
  • While acting with humility you have a strong professional will, are results-driven and desire to win
  • You live consultative sales philosophy, combining strong discovery and in depth research, with excellence in selling on pain point & tailor made selling
  • You are both fluent in German and English (required)
