We are seeking a highly strategic and analytically-minded person to play an important role in this ambition.

What you’ll do

As a Marketing Research Analyst for Hotels.com, you will be responsible for (1) Designing, executing and delivering high-impact primary research – both quantitative and qualitative, (2) Analyzing data to find opportunities to optimize Marketing campaigns globally, (3) Being the central owner of best practices for consumer research, such as survey design, focus group screeners, and testing methodologies. This highly visible role requires the analytical ability to identify trends within our research data and the passion to turn the insights into actions that drive growth by working with teams across the entire business.

This highly-visible position will report to the Brand Manager, Brand Strategy & Insights. Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with cross-functional partners/leads globally to get feedback and optimize surveys and research inputs, such as for Brand Health Tracking, Ad Testing, Loyalty Messaging, and ad hoc business questions
  • Design, program, and launch survey questionnaires based on research objectives, using Qualtrics and other platforms
  • Collaborate with research vendors on timelines, budgets, and operational needs to launch studies with excellence
  • Manipulate raw data and develop actionable reports to uncover actionable consumer insights across the globe, that inform the development of strategic marketing recommendations and campaign briefs
  • Present research findings to stakeholders across organization, including to leadership, Global Brand team, agency partners, and regional teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related field of study
  • Strong writing skills, verbal skills, presentation skills, and attention to detail
  • Thrive in managing and effectively influencing large matrixed teams in a hyper-competitive industry with demonstrated experience in project management
  • Polished communicator with ability to present data and information in a clear and concise fashion
  • Excellent organization skills, and ability to lead multiple projects/ responsibilities
  • A plus if you have experience with executing full-cycle research independently from survey design, discussion guide creation, fielding, analyzing, and reporting
  • Online retail experience would be beneficial
  • Online travel landscape knowledge beneficial
