Technical Product Manager II

Our team is looking for a Technical PM to drive the delivery of products to help our partners manage Vacation Rental regulations as well as keep our company in compliance. As the TPM, you will be working with a broad group of teams across the enterprise to make this effort a success.

You will contribute to large-scale development schedules and roadmaps from design to release, making appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-market, and clearly communicating goals.   • You will own technical product delivery for multi-functional projects involving delivery teams while driving team velocity
  • You will communicate and build relationships with partners throughout the Expedia organization.
  • You will negotiate effective technical solutions between development delivery teams and partner teams.
  • You will actively implement standard methodologies within a strongly Agile environment, Continuous Delivery & Test automation.
  • You drive project timelines across multiple partners while clearly defining dependencies, and finding opportunities to speed delivery.
  • You will contribute to, foster, and cultivate a collaborative development environment.
  • You will actively contribute to planning and facilitate roadmap alignment with product owner and key partners.
  • You will influence developers, testers, and operations teams to deliver a high-quality product that is stable in production and satisfies scalability, reliability and performance goals

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 4+ years experience as a Technical Product Manager and 5+ years of experience in a technical domain
  • Excellent communication skills
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You bring relevant experience reviewing and contributing to project plans, development and test specifications, and performing data analysis
  • Experience delivering production quality web or data applications with partner teams
  • Ability to independently capture and turn business requirements into user stories, epics and technical requirements and drive discussions among multiple technical teams to scope and schedule effort
  • Have experience with CI/CD framework and related tools, cloud computing, traffic management and analysis, project management tools, web technologies, and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) highly desired
  • Good Project Management skills to drive the regulatory for vacation rentals
  • We seek experience collaborating with Engineers, other Technical Product Managers, Product Managers, and partners from cross sections of organizations.
