Position Overview:

Egencia is looking for a Global Sales Manager to join our fast growing India operations in Gurgaon to sell the Egencia product to prospective global clients based in Asia, across all industries. Reporting to the Director of Global Sales APAC, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing a sales strategy and pipeline, coordinating multi-market corporate travel tender responses, presenting the Egencia value proposition to prospective global clients, working with other Egencia sales teams around the world and with our alliance partners in growing our customer base.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of Asia-based global business prospects, from qualification to signature.
  • Coordinate and contribute the APAC response to multi-market travel management tenders originating outside of Asia and drive the global response to multi-market travel management tenders originating from Asia.
  • Identify, and educate prospective corporate clients on the Egencia value proposition and technology solution
  • Form multi-level consultative relationships within target companies ie; CEOs, CFOs, Procurement, Human Resources, Executive Assistants & travel managers, to ensure a positive & productive sales experience for all prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain professional and technical knowledge needed to understand the APAC corporate travel market, Egencia’s solution and our competitors.
  • Inspire Egencia sales professionals around the world to sell Egencia’s APAC capability to new and existing global clients.

Who you are: You’ll fit this role if you have:

  • Proven track record of achievement in B2B solution selling within travel, technology and / or relevant B2B market.
  • Experience in coordinating multi-regional RFP responses and in closing multinational deals
  • Ability to develop a personal network within a matrix organization and to work effectively across diverse cultures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to deal with ambiguity. Strong change management skills.
  • Knowledge of travel management concepts and practices.
  • Experience within Egencia or other global TMC is a plus, but not essential
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Personal resilience and accountability
