Business Analyst - Salesforce - Sales Operations

The Mission:

The Business Analyst role within the Global Partner Success Operations (GPSO) is responsible for enabling, troubleshooting, and optimizing sales tools and technology at HomeAway. In this role, you will be providing front line Business Analyst support for our sales teams.

Primary daily activities include investigating bugs and system issues, facilitating tasks and improvements through Jira (or similar Agile software), working with sales engineering team to resolve issues, running reports and analyzing results, answering Partner Success questions regarding systems and sales workflow processes, identifying changes for process improvement and long-term system optimization. In addition to the day-to-day tasks you will provide support to the overall GPSO Tools & Technology Team through testing and system rollout coverage for large roadmap objectives.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide front line support to our global sales teams through the resolution of complex operational issues
  • Perform end-to-end business analyst duties including requirements gathering, data analysis, functional design, system implementation, and user acceptance testing
  • Effectively document and communicate Partner Success Management’s business requirements with our technology teams
  • Identify, engage and liaise with key stakeholders across the business
  • Work closely with Sales training teams during the deployment of new technology enhancements
  • Deliver and prioritize projects within an Agile framework
  • Continually look for new ways of doing things better to increase efficiencies and help improve sales operation performance

Who you are?

  • Advanced degree in Math, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields preferred (applicable experience may be substituted)
  • Fluency in English is essential. Spanish is a plus.
  • 3+ years in a business analyst role, preferably in a sales organization supported by a CRM system (Understanding of CRM capabilities regarding configuration and custom development)
  • 2+ years of experience with SalesForce.com sales functions, such as accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, reports, forecasting, and activities. Salesforce Admin Certification is a plus
  • Prior experience partnering with and presenting to executive leadership
  • Outstanding social skills and customer service skills in order to support the Partner Success team
  • Self-starter and standout colleague, sees what needs to be done and takes initiative
