Sales Manager, TravelAds Emea

We have an exciting opportunity to accelerate growth in EMEA and are looking for a Sales Manager for the TravelAds Sponsored Listing business. You will have revenue and management responsibility for a team of sales professionals who sell online, cost per click advertising to hotels, with a primary focus on acquisition. You will lead your team in developing strategies to reach quarterly revenue targets while producing industry leading results for our partners. You are responsible for uncovering and implementing revenue growth initiatives that are consistent with our global strategy and deliver measurable value to Expedia Group.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and maintain a high performing sales team and ensure the attainment of team targets.
  • Utilize and master a number of online tools used for acquisition and retention, while ensuring your team uses them effectively.
  • Instill best practices in lead generation, business development, account retention and usage.
  • Provide feedback and market expertise to senior leadership and various internal teams responsible for product development.
  • Develop a sales strategy to grow the Expedia Media Solutions TravelAds business.
  • Utilize analytical skills to identify trends and make forward thinking suggestions to allow your team to sell more efficiently.
  • Coach and mentor a team designed to deliver continued revenue growth in a consultative client first sales environment.
  • Partner with other internal and client facing teams through Expedia Group to achieve the best results possible for the company and clients.
  • Manage time effectively across a large geographical region.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly revenue goals.

Who you are:

  • Significant sales experience, preferably in Media Sales and/or the travel industry.
  • Success leading acquisition focused sales teams.
  • Ability to meet revenue targets and effectively present proposals & provide influence at the senior management level.
  • Experience in providing consultative sales support and building long lasting client relationships.
  • Ability to collaborate with peers, managers, and other internal teams.
