EPS partners with businesses across a wide range of verticals, including loyalty programs, airlines, travel agents, corporate travel management companies and online retailers who remarket EPS rates and availabilities to their travellers. Partners can access EPS products in the way that best suits their business, whether that is a fully customizable environment through EPS APIs or an ‘off-the-shelf’ white-label or co-branded template solution offering or its agent tools.

What you'll do

A great opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic Finance team within EPS in a leading role in the FP&A team. Primary responsibilities include: Team management, leading the Planning and forecasting cycles; EPS EBITDA performance analysis & challenge; delivery of high quality reporting and analysis of key P&L drivers to support effective decision making. This is a 8 month maternity cover with the possibility of a permanent position thereafter.

Responsibilities:

Reporting – Oversee delivery of key insights and communications to EPS & Finance leadership teams.

  • Report on performance against Forecast, identifying key drivers and flagging any underlying opportunities/issues.
  • Obtain input from stakeholders across EPS functions and Expedia Group functions to get in depth analysis behind P&L drivers.
  • Present results to the leadership team to enable to them to clearly understand key drivers and any business decisions required.

Forecasting – Take a strategic view on the performance of the business to be able to project the future performance expectations, balancing risks and opportunities in the market.

  • Ensure delivery of timely forecast and challenge assumptions
  • Manage the EPS forecast process to ensure all key stakeholders aligned on expectations and timelines
  • Input into the EPS 3 year strategic plan model and use that insight to shape the quarterly forecast process

Team Management – Oversee a team of finance professionals

  • Take overall responsibility for team output and deadlines and manage workload effectively across the team
  • Help the team develop within their roles by ensuring they are being given enough challenge to expand their knowledge and enough support to be able to develop new skills
  • You will coach the team in driving innovation to build excellence in performance analysis and interpreting financial trends; identifying new opportunities for business growth and effective business decision making

EPS Finance evolution project – Following the consolidating of the Expedia Group B2B partnerships into one EPS team there are opportunities to ensure harmonization of reporting and processes as well as systems improvements. This role will play a key part in driving those opportunities for the FP&A team.

Who you are

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA), BA/BSc 2:1 or above (or equivalent), and strong academic record
  • Experience with analysis, forecasting, and management reporting including proven success in streamlining processes
  • Advanced excel modelling skills with experience of managing large and complex data sets
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial information and providing insight in fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills (both written and verbal)
  • Professional “can do” work ethic, with proven ability to manage many conflicting tasks
  • Great presentation skills and experience of PowerPoint
  • Hyperion experience a plus
  • Someone who thrives in large, global, fast moving organizations
  • Ideally with technology/travel tech experience
