This position will report to the Chief of Staff of the Commercial Strategy and Services Organization and will provide administrative support to one Vice President, one Sr Director and both of their teams. You should have a strong customer focus, proactive attitude and the ability to prioritize a demanding work load while maintaining a sense of humor.

This multi-faceted position requires a high level administrative professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, results oriented environment. Considering the confidential nature of business in this environment, this position requires someone with the highest level of ethics, good judgment and common sense.

What you will do

  • Maintain executive's calendars by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel, simple and complex, both domestic and international
  • Drive key team activities (ordering lunches and daily interactions with the team)
  • Run group logistics and plan events
  • Manage travel and expense reporting
  • Work well with other assistants throughout Expedia Group
  • Other responsibilities may include event planning, both onsite and offsite meeting planning and other special projects as assigned.
  • Facility and space management including office move coordination
  • Order office supplies and coordinate new employee setup and equipment orders

Who you are

  • 5+ years' experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are required along with tact, poise and strong people skills.
  • Demonstrated abilities in initiative, judgment, discretion and handling multiple tasks is essential.
  • The ideal individual will have experience working with senior-level executives, in a hi-tech and creative environment.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, good judgement, excellent attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and strength in navigating and juggling multiple priorities
  • Show respect, integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and partnership in looking after people in the organization
  • Have a good sense of humor, have fun and a good perspective
  • Complete work quickly, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Work well in both team oriented and focused environments
  • Demonstrate a team and customer service orientation
  • Communicates sensitive or confidential information appropriately.
