Sales Development Representative (Inside Sales) (6-month contract)

As a Sales Development Representative, you will drive initial engagement with SME prospects for Egencia in the Australian market. You will be joining a winning team that is passionate about and dedicated in securing new businesses to achieve and exceed our ambitious growth targets.

This is a 6-month contract role.

What you’ll do

  • Engage with established new business prospects for the Australia Sales team within the Australia SME market, through your own sourcing.
  • Establish, nurture and secure a prospect culminating in a new business win for Egencia.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Australian Sales team on strategic new business initiatives.
  • Ensure that you regularly achieve critical metrics in sales activity to drive a consistent pipeline of new business prospects.
  • Promote the Egencia brand through sharing marketing generated content via corporate social media.
  • Utilize corporate social media to establish new business prospects and form relationships with key decision makers.
  • Employ marketing automation software to drive further engagement with prospects beyond direct contact.
  • Ensure that the new business opportunities that you build are sufficiently well aligned with the Egencia value proposition.

Who you are

You’d be great for the role if you have/ are able to:

  • Prior experience of working in an internally based outbound sales team with a structured set of critical metrics around day to day activity.
  • An adaptable approach to communication, as the role will involve engaging with contacts of varying business seniority.
  • Excellent listening skills, and ability to establish trust.
  • Motivation to earn through consistently achieving and exceeding personal expectations.
  • Demonstrable background in selling a multi-faceted technology solution into the corporate market.
  • A Bachelor’s/ college degree is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Outreach is preferred.
  • Direct experience specifically within the travel industry is not essential.
