Egencia is the corporate business travel arm of Expedia (that’s right, we know you love to travel, and you might have heard of some of our other brands; Travelocity, Orbitz, VRBO just to name a few), but behind the scenes and screens, we operate on the other end of the corporate spectrum. We do not feel that there is a need to wear a suit to work, but we do feel the need to make sure that those who do are fully supported when they need to travel for the business.

As part of our ongoing commitment to recruit the best talent for Egencia, we are currently seeking a Corporate Sales Manager to join our exceptional Australian sales team.

You will be based in Sydney and work autonomously across all corporate market segments. You will be responsible for business development, establishing relationships with, and securing new corporate clients for Egencia Australia.

Who You Are

Ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in field sales who is familiar with SME sector
  • Tech-savvy; from a tech sales background with SaaS experience
  • Independent; a self-starter
  • Familiar with functioning in a corporate environment/ in a corporate capacity
  • Used to a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of achievement in B2B solution selling
  • Academic degree desirable but not necessarily required
  • Travel background (desirable)

What You'll Do

  • Identify, and educate prospective corporate clients on the Egencia value proposition and technology solution
  • Communicate the Egencia vision, service, and systems clearly and concisely to prospective clients, delivering real-time value, cost savings and efficiencies to suitable clients
  • Converting prospects in to valued, transacting Egencia clients
  • Achieving/exceeding monthly KPI’s relating to activity and results
  • Form multi-level consultative relationships within target companies ie; CEOs, CFOs, Procurement, Human Resources, Executive Assistants & travel managers, to ensure a positive & productive sales experience for all prospective clients.
  • Self-generate prospects, leads whilst develop/manage a pipeline of clients along the client journey
  • Respond to leads generated from Egencia's concentrated marketing efforts
  • Work with Account Management, Implementations and other groups to ensure customer satisfaction remains best in class
