Manager, Finance Operations - 4 month FTC

This position is a key part of the EPS Commercial & Partner Finance team through delivering insight in to the strategy supported by quality, timely reporting. This role will own the vision and implementation strategy for the future of our Expedia Affiliate Collect payment product to support EPS’s strategic growth objectives. With EAC as a key driver of growth in our Affiliate program, collaborating and partnering with various stakeholders will be essential for building on the success of EAC to date.

What you'll do

  • Supporting in the development and continuous enhancement of the credit & risk management strategy for EPS’s EAC program. 
  • Providing input, insight and guidance into the strategic planning cycle in conjunction with EPS’s strategy team and the EPS Leadership Team, producing compelling reporting & insight to communicate the evolution of EAC credit & risk management expansion whilst highlighting areas for further optimization. 
  • Identifying, investigating and leading the delivery of key EAC related initiatives to support EPS’s strategic growth objectives
  • Leading and developing a team to deliver on their objectives, including regular 1:1’s, team meetings and development conversations.
  • Driving the development of and improvements to EAC reporting, in conjunction with finance and sales leadership, to deliver greater insight to EAC performance.  This should cover, but not be limited to;
  • All aspects of EAC reporting including the live Partner dashboards,
  • weekly EAC ageing review and
  • monthly Partner Credit Snapshot
  • Leading the development of robust working capital reporting for EPS to provide insight over our key working capital metrics and cash conversion cycle
  • Developing appropriate operational reporting along with KPIs and eventual development of SLAs
  • Providing analytical support for the Partner Finance team to understand current issues and their impact on partner payment performance, ongoing root cause analysis of queries and support in implementing improvements to minimise future queries.
  • Providing ad hoc finance support as and when required

Who you are

  • Qualified accountant, MBA or relevant professional experience.
  • Experience working in a technology/travel industry an advantage.
  • Experience working in a large organization with a global accounts receivable function.
  • Experience of developing teams of varying seniority, delivering vision and gaining engagement.  
  • Experience in a business partnering finance role in a fast paced, changing environment (internally and client facing)
  • Proven ability to analyze data to solve business problems and provide strong business insight, along with a proven ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-finance audiences
  • Experience in implementing large scale process changes to drive efficient, scalable operations, with proven success operating autonomously in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Experience working with cross functional teams across multiple time zones, open to travel from time to time.
  • Proven ability to manage many conflicting tasks, and deliver against rapidly changing priorities
  • Advanced spreadsheet, database and presentation skills
  • Adapts well to, and is energized by, change whilst maintaining focus on key business goals and objectives
