This position offers an unusual opportunity for a talented eCommerce Specialist who wants to learn state-of-the-art eCommerce, customer experience, and automation. The team is open for this role to be based in London or Singapore.

What you’ll do

  • Maintain the quality of our local customers’ experience. You will monitor daily the performance of our platforms (desktop, mobile, app), in search for issues affecting the quality of our local customers’ experience and work to resolve them.You will contribute to regular performance discussions, by helping to provide visibility of performance, highlighting opportunities for improvement, and driving the execution of performance improvement action plans.

  • Make our customer experience locally relevant. Based on quantitative and qualitative research (some of it conducted by you), you will partner with other teams at Expedia to design and test improvements to our local customers’ experience, for example through product A/B testing or the introduction of new payment methods.

  • Scale your work. You will help to scale Expedia’s operations, by identifying opportunities for automation, and working with other teams at Expedia to develop and test automated solutions.

Who you are

  • Friendly, mature, humble, honest, meticulous and a self-starter

  • Self-motivated and able to work well both as an individual and within a team.

  • Strong experience in a business analyst, customer experience, eCommerce, strategy or management consultant role, with proven record of increased responsibility and complexity.

  • Strong analytical skills, and capacity to learn quickly and simplify complexity.

  • Proficiency in Excel required, and in SQL and Adobe Analytics Marketing Cloud a plus.

  • Strong business sense and ability to make things happen: able to derive business decisions from analyses, and drive the execution of those decisions.

  • Able to communicate results of analysis clearly.

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to maintain high confidentiality, be tactful and apply discretion when dealing with people

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment and work under pressure in challenging situations
