Egencia is changing the way corporations manage their travel programs and is seeking an expert to manage and provide support for large global accounts. The Strategic Account Specialist will be supporting the Strategic Global Accounts. This position will support and be responsible for developing multi-dimensional relationships both internally and externally to provide support and solutions for global clients and their World Wide travel needs.

This position requires an individual with client facing project management, technical expertise, organizational and problem-solving skills as well as a keen attention to detail. This individual will work across multiple teams and points of sale within Egencia including Sales, Implementations, Account Management, and Customer Service to drive global consistency and standardization.

The Strategic Account Specialist must be a team player, biased to action, have high energy, and can function effectively in a virtual environment.

What you'll do

  • You will implement and lead account standards across multiple points of sale to support global client needs, while working with the Regional Account Managers to support local relationships and requirements
  • Maintain client Egencia’s systems, working on existing website applications and site configuration
  • You will be maintaining project deliverables including the project plan, schedule, status reports, and any other documentation related to the management and administration of the project
  • Consult and facilitate meetings with stakeholders in the client’s organization to make technical recommendations and adjustments in the Egencia website
  • Act as a client advocate within the company, including representing client issues to upper management, customer service, technical support and product development
  • Functional expert in change management
  • Interact and build a strong, positive rapport with the Global & Regional Account Management team and global clients

Who you are
You’ll fit this role if you have

  • Ability to communicate information in a manner that all audiences can easily understand via multiple formats, i.e. virtual and in-person
  • Project and Time Management – Proven success managing multi-faceted, time-sensitive projects
  • Communication – Strong skills in facilitation, written documentation, status reporting, mediation, training, and presentations
  • Experience working in a global travel environment
  • Technical – Experience working with an Online Travel Tool or Agency
  • Applications –Proficiency in MS Excel, Project, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
