Are you a self-starter who demonstrates initiative and tenacity while working independently? Do you have a passion for technology and travel? If so, we are looking for a passionate Director of Product to lead the optimisation and scaling of our traveler demand acquisition product suite.
As Product Director you will lead a team of high performing Product Managers through definition and delivery of solutions that empower Growth marketing. You will also interact with some of Vrbo's key partners in the advertising industry, understanding new trends and capabilities and how these can benefit our business and our customers (travellers, suppliers and 3rd party partners).
This role sets the product strategy and roadmap to unlock the business’ ability to efficiently capture traveler demand at scale, including but not limited to our product offerings for the Affiliates and Metasearch channels (APIs, widgets, co-brands, etc), as well as conversion through the optimisation of Vrbo's site components displayed throughout the shopping experience (e.g. search box, social sharing, header, footer).
Based in Sydney, this is a global role that exerts leadership across Vrbo's worldwide product organisation.
Leverage qualitative industry and user insights alongside our quantitative analytics systems to identify net new opportunities and shape the product strategy and roadmap;
10+ years product management experience within an agile environment, with at least 5 years in eCommerce;
Demonstrated ability to develop product managers into product leaders;
Shown experience leading multiple, ongoing, complex projects and implementing web-based eCommerce applications while delivering on schedule;
Your communication skills allow you to excel at collaborating in matrixed team working with several time zones.

Experience in proficiently using data to understand issues and effectively identify a solution.
Comfortable with and adaptable to change. We work in an innovative fast growth environment where products and processes evolve rapidly.
Experience in the travel vertical and a 2-sided marketplace is desirable.
