Job Description

Please come and join us in one of Expedia's most dynamic client facing teams. You be providing some of the most important business to client customer service that we offer to hotels in this role and we want you as part of this.

Please note previous Health and Safety experience is not required in this position and this is a 6-month fixed term contract. Feel free to apply if your skills are in complex admin management, customer service (B2B, B2C) and Tour Operations.

You will work with the Manager on the implementation and delivery of the Expedia Safety Management System (SMS) in line with the Expedia European Policy across global product lines.

General Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of our Health & Safety team to assist in the coordination of our Health & Safety programme, including but not limited to:
  • coordinating the completion of online self-assessments,
  • gathering gas safety information,
  • scheduling of inspections,
  • negotiating with lodging partners during post-inspection follow up.
  • Liaise with lodging partners and increase engagement and participation in program areas above, with strong focus on emailing and calling.
  • Ensure delivery of agreed SLAs within set deadlines.
  • Responsible for data entry and database maintenance.

What we need you to be:

  • An enthusiastic and capable administrator.
  • Have previous experience in customer service and a flair for managing business relationships; including good phone and email etiquette
  • Demonstrate good MS Office skills, particularly Excel (pivot table/VLookup level).
  • University degree or an equivalent experience.
  • Accurate data entry skills.
  • Good organisational ability.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, phone and face to face.
  • An interest in our industry and what we do.

Desirable:

  • Ability to speak one or more foreign language(s).
  • A good understanding of online tools, including Salesforce or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in Health & Safety in a Tour Operations environment.
