Director, Relationship Management (Co-brand) (12 month FTC)

Position Overview:

Do you want to be part of a dynamic, customer-focused organisation? At we are constantly developing propositions that are simple, generous and relevant and we’re looking for a Director, Co-brand to join the Global Customer Marketing team to launch a new co-brand credit card product. Relationship Management will be at the heart of the role and you’ll have responsibility for working with both internal teams and externally with our bank and network partners to ensure the successful launch and marketing of the co-brand product. You’ll facilitate new processes and ways of working to build a highly functioning cross business team that delivers a market leading offering.

This is a 12 month Fixed Term contract initially.

What you’ll do:

You'll be responsible for the launch of the new co-brand product in the US, specifically

  • Building relationships with key internal and external business partners, creating a well-functioning cross discipline team across brands
  • Ensure seamless communication so that everyone is on the same page and partners are up to speed and bought in
  • Understand the priorities, motivations of partners and team members, and develop strategies to best service those needs
  • Responsible for negotiating and agreeing commercial decisions
  • Ensure clear and agreed joint project plan to achieve launch timescales, holding people accountable on delivery and utilising support and expertise we receive from them
  • Manage risks and trade-offs, balancing delivery of a strong customer centric offering with speed to market and commercial optimisation
  • Own and optimise initiative prioritisation and project intake process, effectively triaging requests
  • Support delivery teams via effective problem solving and as a route for senior issue resolution
  • Effectively manage the team dedicated to the product across marketing, tech, product, financial disciplines and including 3 direct reports
  • Develop and achieve agreement on a cross channel marketing plan for launch
  • Management of budgets to maximise return and set up for long term success of the co-brand product

Who you are:

  • Have previous experience in successfully launching a co-brand credit card product
  • Have very strong partner management & interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence, motivate and gain consensus across all levels of the organisation
  • Experienced in managing complex and cross functional product launches
  • You should be a commercial thinker; understanding the impact of decisions you make and able to see the bigger picture
  • Be a strategic planner and easily translate vision and strategy into clear, actionable deliverables
  • Be a self-starter with experience working effectively in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
  • Adept at navigating the complexities of highly matrixed organisations
  • Willingness for frequent travel to the US
