Sales Support Specialist



Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS) is seeking an experienced Sales Support Specialist. This person will partner with EPS Sales team, including Business Development Managers, Account Managers, and Account Representatives to provide support for partners of varying size and complexity. The successful candidate will foster strong working relationships with Account Managers in order to proactively identify and assist with partner needs.  The role requires strong internal coordination skills, knowing how to work with other teams as they relate to servicing requests: this primarily includes finance, the partner reporting team, and customer operations, but could also include technical, analytics, and legal teams. The Sales Support Specialist will occasionally be expected to work directly with partners on some servicing and reporting items but will be kept at a minimum and for selected partners only.  

What you'll do

  • Setting up, running and monitoring partner reporting
  • Assisting with partner questions, such as those related to reporting, analytics or customer service
  • Completing legal and credit line documentation requirements and administrative follow-ups such as addendum approvals and credit approvals, limit increases, and reconciliations
  • Qualifying marketing leads for the Business Development team to ensure that the prospect fits the minimum criteria set
  • Managing violations and content requests (description, price or geography) raised by the Supply Teams and/or partners
  • Assisting with partner questions, such as those related to reporting, analytics or customer service
  • Primary point of contact and responsible for handling queries originating from any unmanaged Account Partners
  • Raising and tracking tickets from internal team relating to bugs or new requests and external partners’ enquiries
  • Identify gaps in processes and providing & working with relevant stakeholders to implement necessary changes to build an efficient working machine
  • Key point of contact to coordinate and implement region-wide projects stemming from changes to EPS’s products, processes and partner integration requirements.

Who you are
You’ll fit this role if you have

  • Minimum 3 years related industry experience and college degree
  • Experience in sales support / account management / client servicing in a B2B environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin, other Asian languages is a plus
  • Experience in an e-commerce, technology or travel background is a plus
  • Strong customer focus and relationship building skills
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and learn quickly
  • “Make it happen” approach – The role will be varied and we’re looking for an individual who will relish the change to roll up their sleeves and get involved with all aspects of the account management support function.
  • Good sense of business acumen
  • Understanding of API solutions and SEM/SEO is a plus
