Expedia’s Multi-Item Trip team develops a proprietary package search engine which is used by millions of users on a daily basis. We are looking for an exceptional Software Engineering Manager to help the team continue to improve one of Expedia’s key products and further grow our competitive advantage within the industry. As a team member, your responsibility will be to manage a team of software engineers, ensure project delivery and build systems to help test and analyze our search engine’s functional and competitive performance. Further, you will have the opportunity to understand and shape the marketplace landscape we are looking to create, solve some wickedly hard problems, and influence design decisions which can have a large impact across the company.

Success in the position requires you to work effectively in Agile/Squad model and effectively collaborate and problem solve with peers across several teams and disciplines. Your systems will be expected to explore use cases of the product, validate functional correctness, and ensure we meet the levels of scalability and robustness needed for this extremely high-volume and high-visibility product.
