Job Title: Product Manager - III 

Expedia’s Flights Product team is looking for a collaborative and inspirational Product Manager to play a leadership role in our mission to help people go places by offering them the lowest possible prices, the best available selection, and the best user experience for shopping and purchasing flights.

In this role you will work with local teams, as well as stakeholders around the globe to create a delightful product, set the roadmap and execute the strategy to meet business goals. You will work with partners, suppliers, customers, and executive leadership to define and evangelize the flight product vision.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead development of product strategy for a part of the Flights portfolio; own refinement & updates over time; evangelize & disseminate road map (including executive review).
  • Inspire your team to collaboratively identify, quantify, prioritize, and document opportunities to improve: marketing features, flight shopping experience, and revenue generation.
  • Develop business cases & justification for new initiatives; deliver post-mortems and results of shipped/tested/ongoing initiatives.
  • Measure & report performance of new and existing features & partnerships.
  • Watch industry, competitor, and technology trends in order to inform and adjust Flight product strategies.
  • You might need to travel & collaborate with global point of sale teams to understand unique local requirements and opportunities.

Who you are: You’ll fit this role if you have:

  • B.Tech/B.E or equivalent degree
  • 5+ years of product management or related experience in an agile development environment to deliver large scale web and mobile applications
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (externally and internally at all levels)
  • Proven track record of delivering results through focused execution, data orientation and ownership
  • Ability to work across, and positively influence, a large & complex organization
  • Passion for travel and customer experience
  • Experience in a high-volume e-commerce environment
  • Experience in the travel industry and/or a global working environment is a plus
