Senior Benefits Manager, EMEA

Reporting to the Director Total Rewards for EMEA region, Senior Benefits Manager will be responsible for design, implementation, and administration of locally relevant Benefits programs which are aligned with Expedia's Global Benefits strategy. The scope includes but is not limited to Southern Europe, Africa and Middle East region.

The role will be required to assist as a key point of contact for multiple VPs of HR, HR Business Partners, Recruiters and Business Leaders on a range of benefit -related topics.

Countries included in the scope are Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and United Arab Emirates.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for all implementation activities of approved benefit programs, including selection and setup of benefit providers, crafting project plans, assembling resources, and developing and documenting processes and policies
  • Regularly review and benchmark benefits programs in the region to ensure competitiveness and alignment to the Global Benefits Strategy, making recommendations for change as appropriate.
  • Lead all pension arrangements, such as process administration or effective education, including managing and liaising with brokers, governance committees, processing contributions and ensuring accurate and timely investments are made.
  • Ensure the benefits programs remains compliant and plans effectively for future changes and developments.
  • Maintain the relationship with employee benefits consultants and other external stakeholders.
  • Actively monitor, review and continuously improve service delivery and processes with the providers.
  • Continuously think of ways to enhance existing employee experience, as well as identify and deliver cost saving solutions and new benefits by putting oneself in the shoes of customers.
  • As one of the stewards of the people and culture agenda, work in partnership with HR Operations, Payroll and Regional HR teams to ensure that employee experience is integrated and resolutions to the issues are speedy and effective.
  • Craft communication plans to ensure effective internal marketing of available program offerings

Who you are:

  • Solid background in a Benefits or Rewards role in EMEA region
  • Previous experience of working with a US Multinational preferred
  • Strong working knowledge and experience of pension and benefits regulations and legislation.
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy for numerical and written work.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel) and HRIS systems
  • Fluent in written & verbal English; understanding of French or Spanish preferred
