Strategic Account Manager

We are looking for an innovative thinker with travel industry experience, capable of handling customer relationships, reporting on trend analysis and finding creative solutions to traditional challenges while creating a demand.

What You’ll Do

  • The SAM is responsible for maintaining existing agent and agency relationships and identifying new strategic revenue growth opportunities within their account base.
  • Maximize relationships to insure the highest level of account penetration and successful booking conversion.
  • SAM is required to use strategic selling skills to achieve or exceed overall annual sales revenue goals.
  • Build trust with customers, partners and colleagues through positive, engaging conversation through email, phone, text or messenger platforms, depending on customer preference.
  • Support event planning efforts including detailed itineraries and budgets for familiarization trips, trade shows and other calendar events. Travel required 30% of time, which would include overnight and weekends
  • Timely reporting through advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Tableau, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Be influential and creative in Social Media to network with existing and new customers and partners.
  • Maintain swift response time for client inquiries or customer service issues.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.

  • Flexibility and high level of comfort working in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • Ability to effectively and clearly communicate, both orally and written.
  • Adaptable and relatable communication skills while maintaining luxury Classic standards
  • Strategic analytical thinking combined with sound execution.
  • Ability to be completely well versed and educated on all Classic tools and technologies.
  • Position can be based in St. Louis, MO or Kansas City, MO
