SEM Analyst, Operations

Vrbo is looking for a passionate SEM Analyst, Operations to join our Growth Marketing team in Austin. This position will be the SEM operations point of contact across multiple sites in over 15 languages. Acting as the connection between content and technology, the analyst will be responsible for new builds and the routine maintenance and cleanup of accounts with the help of our internal automated tools. You will own asset management, process documentation, and be able to provide valuable optimization feedback on both.

You will have a background in marketing operations or other related field where the precise handling of large amounts of data is required.

Performance marketing experience is a plus, but not a requirement.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities:

  • Own all tool integrations with an emphasis on documenting process and ongoing health checks
  • Primary go-to contact for tools access and training
  • Own Microsoft search advertising program
  • Hands on Updates and Expansions of current campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Quality assurance and maintenance of all creative assets
  • Manipulation and review of large collections of data sets with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate performance metrics, challenges and opportunities to key partners

Who You Are

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous experience with marketing heavy operations
  • Management of large data sets
  • Experience with Excel (Vlookup and pivot tables)
  • Process documentation and management
  • Experience having a collaborative approach and ability to interact with creative and technical teams
  • Nice to have: SEM knowledge; Experience with Google Ads Editor, Bing Ads, DoubleClick
  • Fluent in multiple languages is preferred, but not required
