Are you an experienced and committed people manager? Does the opportunity to build out a new Collections team in the Asia Pacific region for the world’s largest online travel platform excite you? If so, we'd want to speak with you!

As the APAC Collections Supervisor at Expedia Group, you will be responsible for leading as well as participating in the daily processes of the Collections department. As a people manager, you will hire new members, provide task priorities and mentorship to the team, assist with problem resolution and take on leadership responsibilities to ensure the timely completion of collections tasks and processes. We are looking for a team-player who enjoys working closely with other departments in an ever-changing environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and perform tasks related to the collection department functions, including assignment of work queues, management of escalation cases and monitoring of collector workloads and performance against metrics.
  • Responsible for overseeing and engaging staff, including but not limited to fielding questions, providing task priorities, and problem resolution that adhere to company and departmental policies.
  • Meet with each direct report at least weekly to discuss issues and escalation cases.
  • Actively participate in interviewing and hiring employees.
  • Facilitate the training of employees and ensure training manuals are updated.
  • Lead and coach team utilizing formal performance reviews and one-on-ones while leading by example and monitor staff productivity goals and expectation.
  • Prepare monthly presentations on portfolio performance for discussion with leadership team.
  • Make collection calls to corporate travel business customers.
  • Communicate with corporate travel customers in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore.
  • Manage assigned account base in regard to commission collections, and maintain up-to-date contact information for hotels assigned.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.

Who You Are

  • You would have at least 3+ years of supervisory or management experience within Order to Cash/Credit & Collections, customer service or sales in an international environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Any other language is a plus.
  • Excel skills to perform tasks such as creating graphs and data analysis.
  • A detail-oriented problem-solver who enjoys applying your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with minimal direct supervision.
  • You have the ability to travel as business needs warrant.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business would be preferred.
