SEO Content Strategist

Are you a versatile content strategist or SEO specialist who is passionate about providing content solutions on a large scale? Are you ready to help people go places? Then let's talk about this opportunity to join a creative, tenacious team that looks to execute beyond the scope of traditional SEO and online content.

As part of the SEO team at Expedia Group, you'll partner across disciplines (SEO, UX, Product, Engineering, and others) to co-create useful and cohesive landing page experiences for brands such as Orbitz, Travelocity and CheapTickets. You'll define content that helps travelers get the right information and make decisions. You'll contribute to overall SEO content strategy and direction, as well as solving for the technology structures that deliver the content.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform content audits to identify content gaps and optimization opportunities on landing pages
  • Provide support for the development of programmatic and machine generated content solutions
  • Build content briefs based on keyword research insights
  • Review content created by vendors to ensure content is optimized for business goals
  • Handle day-to-day vendor relationships and associated projects
  • Take an active part in global SEO initiatives and executions
  • Track and report performance of content initiatives and iterate based on findings
  • Partner with teams outside of SEO including Product, Engineering, Creative Content, PR, Analytics and Brand to find points of collaboration, shared executions and drive business results

Who you are:

While we recognize that there is not one path to becoming an excellent SEO Content Strategist, we are looking for:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in SEO, digital content management or content strategy
  • An excellent understanding of the principles behind organic search optimization
  • Experience in writing, editing content, sourcing and aggregating content
  • Experience working with very large websites or structured data at scale
  • Degree in a relevant field (Communications, Journalism, Computer Science, Marketing)
