CarRentals.com is looking for a highly motivated, analytical and operationally minded Marketing Analytics Manager You'll be responsible for a large variety of marketing partners globally and you'll have a direct and significant impact on the business. You'll work with leadership to define marketing strategy and work cross functionally to design solutions to execute on the strategy.

The role requires a strong analytical mind and skill- set, as you play a critical role in finding opportunities and automating and defining new and current processes.

This position will report to the Head of Global Partnerships at Carrentals.com and will be based in Hamburg or Seattle.

What you will do?

  • You will manage external relationships and communications with partners such as Meta and Affiliates
  • You will use analytics + business insights to accurately assess opportunity size, build, and stack rank business cases for prioritization.
  • You will collaborate cross functionally with product, engineering, data science, pricing and supply to identity opportunities for optimisation.
  • You will regularly communicate strategy, progress and results to senior leadership
  • You will rely on your marketing automation and architecture familiarity to improve our partner integrations and processes
  • You will work with internal and external partners to design and analyze A/B testing
     

Your Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, combined with a high level of initiative and ability to thrive in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment
  • Positive relationship builder; bridges and sustains solid partnerships based on mutual support through a collaborative style
  • Proven ability to influence others along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adept at managing big data for analytics projects using SQL, Python, R, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage complex projects
     

Your experience and qualification:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics
  • Experience in ecommerce, travel or technical partner integrations is a plus
  • Comfortable writing and working with complex queries in SQL/Hadoop
  • Strongly preferred experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g. Python, R, SAS)
  • Strongly preferred foundational statistics experience (e.g. t-tests, distributions)
