As the Manager of Data Platform UX, you will:
Manage a team of Software Engineers following Agile methodologies
Recruit, mentor, and motivate phenomenal engineering talent.
Set and communicate goals and roadmap
Partner with engineering and product leaders to design strategy and vision of EG Data Platform UX team.
Organize, promote, and drive Agile development processes within the team
Deliver interactive and data-driven UI components and front-end libraries
Construct a flexible and a well-structured front-end architecture for these reusable components
Establish, maintain, and report SLA/SLI/SLO as related to your services
Ship early, ship often, with quality and confidence
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
Strong understanding of how to design an effective engineering organization from the ground up and build a positive engineering-driven culture
5+ years of experience with the full life cycle of software development in consumer-facing web and mobile applications
Expert knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, and other Single Page Applications (SPAs).
Experience building, adopting and maintaining RESTful apis
Familiarity with CICD / Automation Tools
Experience in collaborating with geographically distributed teams is a plus.
Experience in the search domain highly desirable
