Marketing Specialist (Acquisition & Optimization)

About the role

Are you a high performing and data first Marketing Specialist who is experienced in optimising and growing conversion of partner acquisition through notifications e.g. E-Mail, SMS. If so, we have an opportunity available as a Marketing Specialist (Acquisition & Optimisation) to join our global team supporting efforts in driving supply acquisition (platform) within the Commercial organization at Vrbo, part of Expedia Group.

You will build and engage our growing base of vacation rental homeowners and new suppliers globally including AMER, EMEA, and APAC. You will be part of our growing Global Partner Acquisition Marketing team and focus on improving the current email performance while also supporting the further team.

Email Channel Management

  • Lead A/B testing strategy including copy and design optimization for all email lifecycles
  • Report back to the business on campaign results, with analysis and recommendations to optimise
  • Weekly monitoring of email lifecycles results and identify potential program issues
  • Launch new email campaigns while partnering with our in-house Creative Department and Email Marketing team
  • Manage all operational considerations effectively for partner acquisition emails and push notifications

Program management

  • Contribute to project delivery of strategic supply acquisition initiatives
  • Create and coordinate content for monthly supply reviews and similar forums
  • Support team leads on budget planning and forecasting


  • Support in testing in a new Refer-A-Partner scheme
  • Conduct competitor and industry research to inform strategy and planning
  • Assist in testing and development of acquisition landing pages

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Professional experience working in Marketing
  • Familiarity with platform or e-commerce businesses is desirable
  • Self-starter who is comfortable navigating through ambiguity and change
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence in utilising data in Excel and other tools
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work directly with internal and external stakeholders including sales, product, media agencies
  • Excellent project management skills including prioritization and planning
