Sr. Compensation Analyst, Executive Compensation

At Expedia Group, we seek to be the place where exceptional people who share our passion for tech and travel want to do their best work. As part of the Executive Compensation Team, you will assist in all areas of research, planning, design, and administration of Expedia Group’s executive compensation programs. You will play a critical role in defining and implementing programs that align to the overall strategy of Expedia Group. You will also serve as a consultant in developing recommendations for executive offers and in equity compensation broadly.  
 

What You’ll Do:

  • Gather and analyze executive compensation-related data
  • Evaluate benchmarking data for executive positions
  • Create and maintain compensation-related tools and models
  • Participate in relevant external executive benchmarking surveys
  • Assist in preparing materials for Compensation Committee meetings
  • Assist in developing and managing executive compensation disclosures
  • Interact with auditors, accounting, tax, legal, HR, and others to provide executive compensation data and information
  • Help develop incentive programs that align to business strategies and goals as well as shareholder expectations
  • Model alternative approaches to compensating executives, summarize findings, and propose recommendations
  • Work closely with compensation consultants, talent acquisition, and business leaders to prepare employment offers for executive level roles
  • Stay abreast of regulatory developments, global trends, and market best practices  
  • Other duties and special projects as needed within global Total Rewards
     

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in compensation, finance, HR, or related field – prior experience in executive compensation preferred
  • Strong analytical, project management, and program development skills
  • Strong customer service and partnership focus
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly convert data analysis into understandable format and influence leadership
  • Experience creating dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data in Excel
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and HR programs/systems – prior experience in Workday preferred
  • Advanced Excel (VBA, Macro) and Access skills preferred
