About the role

Do you enjoy problem solving and investigating discrepancies? If so, we have an exciting opportunity as a Revenue Accountant to work on accounting projects as we move towards automation. You will work in a close-knit team reporting to the Revenue Accounting Manager, the Revenue Accountant will partner with the enterprise, payments and projects teams to monitor and implement daily cash matching and reconciliation processes. You will be involved with key accounting initiatives and implementations.

What you will do

  • Research and resolve exceptions between the credit card processor, accounting system, and bank statements for traveler payments and disbursements to home-owners
  • Manage and organize large amounts of data to isolate and solve problems
  • Initiate journal entries and correspondence necessary to resolve issues
  • Work closely with global revenue accountants, product developers, and payment processors to establish and maintain processes
  • Implement and improve global cash matching processes as they expand across new products and revenue streams
  • Assist on special projects as assigned from time to time including technical accounting research and new business initiatives
  • Analyze and identify trends in order to initiate productive change

Who you are

  • Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA or similar) or actively pursuing Accountancy qualification a plus
  • Ability and desire to learn quickly in a fast-paced team environment
  • Enjoys solving problems with a keen eye for detail
  • A drive for seeing tasks and projects to completion
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Interest in identifying and solving problems
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables and v-look ups)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact cross functionally with all levels of management and across geographies
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize
  • Ability to understand the total scope of business, while executing on tasks
  • Experience with e-commerce transactions a plus
  • Experienced in working with Accounting Systems
