JOB TITLE: Hotel Collect Corporate Collector

Intro: Hotel Collect Corporate (HCC) is part of Expedia Group’s payment operations team for Accounts Receivable, and is responsible for collecting money due from groups with travel booked on an Expedia Point of Sale. Who you are:

  • Experienced working in a professional business environment for at least 2 years
  • Familiar with finance concepts and practiced at leveraging data for decision-making
  • Practiced with technology, with demonstrated skill in all common business software, including ERP, CRM, and Microsoft Office
  • Skilled in verbal and written communication
  • Practiced at meeting deadlines in a metrics-driven organization
  • Creative, with proven problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Passionate about forming strong relationships with partners

What you will do/role & responsibility (not exclusive):

  • Assisting with the training of new external partners on the use of the Hotel Collect Corporate process
  • Collaborating with monitoring portfolio performance and sharing updates as needed with leadership and partners utilizing professional formal and informal communications in all mediums
  • Conducting analysis of data to find opportunities for collections efforts
  • Researching feedback from external partners to determine the balance of funds owed and how to disposition funds not owed
  • Participating in brainstorming for and testing of new processes, systems, and tools used in collections
  • ·Identifying process gaps and bringing them to the attention of the appropriate party
