Senior Traffic Manager

Expedia Group’s Lodging Partner Services organization (LPS) is seeking a highly talented Senior Traffic Manager to join our team, based in London. This team is responsible for developing relationships with hotels (and other lodging properties) worldwide and supporting their ongoing success on the Expedia Group travel platform.

Reporting to and working closely with the Director of Creative, Design and Development, the Senior Traffic Manager will be responsible for managing and planning all intake meetings and ensuring projects are properly staffed and set up for success. You will lead project workflows, including finalising creative briefs with stakeholders, receiving project brief, assigning jobs to relevant team members, managing production timeline to logistic and project execution. You will ensure that deadlines are met on a daily and project level whilst delivering outputs that meet stakeholders expectations, brand standards and budget requirements.

You will have deep resource management experience, a background in production, strong experience working with creative/production teams, effective cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve.

What you will do:

  • Daily management of projects, intake and assessing creative briefs are submitted correctly
  • Assign tasks and check the statuses of deadlines, outstanding tasks and backlog with the use of a project management tool (
  • Communicate important business information and requirements to multiple teams where needed.
  • Develop, maintain and communicate the team’s intake/feedback guidelines on a regular basis to other teams.
  • Work across multiple projects and ensure all parties are informed of progress and problems in a timely manner.
  • Understand localization processes and their timelines.
  • Handle the scope of work relative to specific needs and budget constraints.
  • Oversee project resources and assist with the management of freelance requirements and bookings.
  • Locate and onboard vendors/freelancers and maintaining a bench for future work in collaboration with the creative leads.
  • Monitor current traffic processes and providing ideas on how to improve current practices where required or advising on best practices.
  • Establish effective relationships with key departments and partners.
  • Report regularly on project status, workloads and team resource.
  • Hold regular production meetings and status updates.
  • Maintain and audit of all creative assets, files and artworks.

Your skills and ability:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple, contending priorities simultaneously within a fast paced environment
  • Ability to keep all open projects moving, hitting and completing targets by the agreed deadlines.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the creative and content process across multiple design touchpoints like print, digital, video, branding, events to name a few.
  • Strong background in creating workflows, forecasts, communication processes, reports and resource/time tracking for creative and content teams.
  • Familiar working with resource management tools like and using Agile methodologies.
  • Solid people management and communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills - think big and small while always creating efficiencies where possible.
  • Possess great organisational competencies and be able to run the creative process from start to finish.
  • Have strong resourcing skills and prior experience with contingent staffing practices at a large corporation where knowledge of the system and adherence to polices is critical.
  • Knowledge or understanding of design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign is a bonus which can help stakeholders that need implementation advice or assistance.

Who you are:

  • Several years of experience in resource management at an agency or in-house creative team.
  • Experience in project/resource managing a broad range of creative projects such as design, brand and advertising.
  • Demonstrable ability to track multiple global projects whilst being highly organised and results driven.
  • You will be forward-thinking and have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think critically and develop creative solutions.
  • Resourcing experience with high volume traffic projects.
