The Regional Manager for the North American Region (AMER) is the liaison between the Analytics teams and Sales team in the NAMER region. With the objective of driving revenue growth and implementing new initiatives, you will play a vital role in analysing and understanding revenue drivers through detailed understanding of our partners’ business model, competitive environment, the online travel industry and market trends. Key partners are the Regional Sales VP, as well as the wider Sales and Commercial Finance organisations. Day-to-day activities include identifying new growth opportunities, and subsequently implementing value driving initiatives, analysing cause of changes in revenue performance, partner level deep-dive analysis, identifying supply gaps and improving conversion rates.

Being a member of the Partner Analytics team, you will have the opportunity to develop initiatives and strategies by bringing together insights from both the demand and supply environment, working with the broad spectrum of the Analytics organisation at EPS, as well as across brands such as Lodging Supply, Commercial Finance, Strategy, Revenue Optimization and Product & Technology. You will be accountable for deciding analytical measurement and process approaches for analyzing revenue performance. You will own and develop new insights, drive new ways of working and be closely connected to the top and bottom line outcome.

What you'll do:

  • Grow partner revenue through optimisation and creation of new business strategies
  • Transform large volumes of data into actionable insights to drive value for EPS and our partners
  • Understand business problems by identifying key challenges and providing solutions using statistical analysis and tools
  • Partnering with the global organization, from diverse groups and teams in the business (Sales, Finance, Customer Operations), supporting the leadership team and external partners to provide insights
  • Support, influence and challenge business decisions with timely analysis
  • Collaborate with Sales teams on business development initiatives and opportunities
  • Measure critical metric performance, including revenue drivers, conversion rates and supply metrics
  • Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to colleagues, partners and leadership in a clear, concise, and influential manner

Who you are

You'll fit this role if you have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ analysis experience in online travel, banking or another data-intensive commercial environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex analysis in an easily understandable manner
  • Strong understanding of revenue drivers and commercial environment
  • Enthusiasm to work in a diverse, global team across geographies and time zones, collaborating with internal and external partners, across various levels
  • Strong SQL skills, (ability to write complex queries from scratch) and a good understanding of databases (Hadoop, Qubole or similar)
  • Experience building dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • Competent knowledge of statistics, with ability to apply to commercial problem solving
  • Consistent track record of identifying and quantifying growth opportunities, as well as implementing solutions to deliver them
