Finance Business Partner

EPS partners with businesses across a wide range of verticals, including loyalty programs, airlines, travel agents, corporate travel management companies and online retailers who remarket EPS rates and availabilities to their travellers. Partners can access EPS products in the way that best suits their business, whether that is a fully customizable environment through EPS APIs or an ‘off-the-shelf’ white-label or co-branded template solution offering or its agent tools.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Director, Finance Business Partners, this position sits within the recently created Finance Business Partnering team, providing an interface between Finance & the Business Function leaders and their teams within EPS. This role will own the business relationship with the teams and help influence decision making, ensuring results are aligned to our strategic goals, alongside providing professional rigour to the financials driving our investment decisions.

  • Supporting the Finance Leadership team in understanding the key project / initiatives being undertaken by the teams of the function.
  • Providing input, insight and guidance into the strategic planning cycle in conjunction with EPS’s strategy team and the EPS LT.
  • Provide compelling reporting & insight to communicate the key risks & opportunities facing EPS 
  • Drive critical reasoning with the teams, supporting in ensuring that the teams are driving the best long-term value creation decisions
  • Effectively demonstrate the benefits of Finance Business Partnering to the functional teams, developing relationships with key personnel at all levels in the organisation
  • Informing and influencing the teams to help them understand the financial impact of initiatives, providing objective viewpoint challenging priorities where necessary
  • Assisting in the completion of business cases that clearly highlight the business value and sensitivities associated with the initiative
  • Devising & delivering reporting that clearly and concisely tracks the impact of key initiatives on our forecast through development to BAU
  • Providing ad hoc finance support as and when required

  • Highly analytical, going beyond the traditional functions of finance, driving insight and strategy across a broad range of business issues

  • Proven ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-finance audiences
  • Big picture focused whilst helping implement procedural change
  • Experience in a business partnering finance role in a fast paced, changing environment (internally and client facing)
  • Skilled at building, delivering and interpreting risk and strategy
  • Familiar with B2B business models and large, multi-currency accounts receivable functions
  • Experienced and enthusiastic working in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments
  • Someone who thrives in large, global, fast moving organisations
  • A skilled people leader, passionate about developing talent
  • Ideally with technology/travel tech experience
