Senior DevOps Engineer
What We’re Looking For
Are you a vastly experienced DevOps engineer with detailed knowledge of AWS and
Kubernetes? If so, let's talk immediately! is currently in the process of migrating
to AWS and this is where you'll come into play.
If you're keen to tackle new challenges, good with people and understand the difference
between containers and virtual machines, you'll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
Work on everything from implementing AWS best practices across all our accounts, to
orchestrating container-based service architecture with Kubernetes.
You’ll be working in the “Runtime Platform” team but will interact with various teams as we
onboard more applications onto the cloud.
We Trust You To
Support a large number of Kubernetes cluster in line with platform requirements
Onboard and maintain applications within our environments fixing any issues along
the way
Manage and monitor systems to ensure that issues are quickly identified and resolved
Collaborate with various platform teams to plan and execute system changes
Automate manual activities
Essential Competencies
You have a very strong experience in managing production systems in AWS and Kubernetes at scale
You like to write Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform & CloudFormation) instead of
doing manual tasks
You are very comfortable with linux
You have experience with container orchestration, e.g. Kubernetes
You are a capable coder in either Python or Go.
You live and breathe automation
You understand DNS, TCP/IP and networking concepts and how to apply them to a
Cloud-based environment.
You possess a deep understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies and concepts.
Ability to work quickly and effectively whilst maintaining quality
You have a desire to evaluate and learn new technologies to tackle real user problems
You have good interpersonal skills and willingness to work across teams
Desirable Competencies
Experience with managing Kubernetes at scale
Experience managing infrastructure with multi-tiered and multi-region web

This is an exciting moment to join the team during this important
phase of the HCOM AWS Migration.
You will be playing a key role in managing the current infrastructure
while helping developers to onboard apps on to the platform. On top of
this, you’ll be responsible for promoting best practices in platform
while working with a modern DevOps toolset including Kubernetes,
Golang, Docker, and Terraform.

across the globe. Your contributions will help our AWS stack to evolve,
enabling developers to release their applications in a secure way,
leveraging all the benefits of the cloud.
