Project Manager

Are you an analytical individual with a background in project management? Have you got a proven track record delivering projects that have a positive impact on the consumer? We are looking for a new B2C Project Manager to join Expedia Local Expert and focus on customer facing/customer experience related initiatives.  The Retail team manages global eCommerce operations for Expedia Group’s Tours, Activities, and Attractions business (internally known as Local Expert or LX) on various points of sale, including the websites of Expedia Inc. and its affiliates, across all platforms including mobile and app. This position is responsible for working across EG brands and teams to own, manage and deliver projects to grow the LX business.

What you’ll do:

  • Understand and measure the key drivers of the customer decision journey from shopping, to booking, post-purchase and repeat
  • Identify areas of growth for LX business, create business cases, influence and convince stakeholders to prioritize these growth opportunities
  • Liaise with Product, Marketing , Supply and UX across the organization to execute an evolving project portfolio
  • Track project progress, solve blockers, and maintain stakeholders focus and alignment until project deliver
  • Evaluate results generated by various initiatives and develop suggestions for future improvement/optimization
  • Formulate recommendations for product enhancements and new product requirements
  • Represent LX in broader business planning meetings with other brands
  • Lead meetings and planning sessions to grow support for LX business

Who you are:

  • University degree beneficial, preferably in business or analytics
  • Several years relevant work experience in fast-paced environment, preferably in B2C e-commerce
  • Proven ability to deliver cross-functional projects in a matrixed organization
  • Effective communicator, skilled in finding and maintaining stakeholder alignment and influencing across all levels of seniority
  • Experienced in building and presenting business cases and sizing opportunities
  • Digital analytics experience: ability to self-serve data needs from Google Analytics/Omniture, manipulate Tableau/Power BI dashboards, create complex Excel reports
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills required, along with a strong focus on prioritization and time management
  • Creative thinker, equally passionate about developing and executing their ideas
  • A varied functional experience is appreciated; curiosity is a must
  • A consumer mindset, a passion for change and a love of travel
