Sr. Product Manager

The Expedia Partner Marketing team is looking for a smart, energetic professional to own the Affiliate Platform product. This is a key role for the Partner Marketing team and reports directly to the Director of Product Management.

In this role you will prioritize and deliver a portfolio of features for a wide range of affiliate partners across Expedia Group’s family of brands. You will work cross functionally with sales, account management, operations, merchandising, design, analytics, and technology teams help our partners grow and optimize their business with Expedia.

This role must have the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in order to deliver value to our partners and partners’ customers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter that enjoys variety, has some experience in the travel space, exudes a positive attitude, is analytical, acts with urgency and enjoys collaborating to achieve results.


  • Create an affiliate product strategy across the Expedia Group brands with your deep understanding of a partner’s experience and industry trends.
  • Build business cases and write detailed user stories using competitive analysis, market and partner/customer research.
  • Collaborate with teams across disciplines to ensure our focus projects deliver as much value as possible.
  • Be a strong communicator and negotiator to help win the support and commitment of dependent teams.
  • Find opportunities to drive incremental value and improve the experience for our partners.
  • Facilitate meetings and planning sessions focused on status reporting, problem resolution, and feedback.

Experience and Qualification:

  • 7+ years of experience in product or program management working closely with software development teams
  • Tech-savvy with ability to communicate technical product features effectively and enthusiastically
  • Analytical skills and ability to make data driven recommendations in an extremely quantitative environment
  • Ability to work with various cross-functional, internal and external groups to effectively execute projects on time and on budget
  • Ability to work autonomously with goal/objective-set direction and own multiple projects simultaneously with varied timelines
  • Strong time management skills
  • Experienced in working with affiliate partners. loyalty, credit cards, ecommerce or travel programs a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
