Our new
Seattle Campus

Inclusive, enriching,
and dynamic

Destination
Seattle

Expedia Group's move to Seattle is part of an exciting expansion that builds on our long history in the Pacific Northwest. Our Seattle campus is a physical representation of the new Expedia Group brand and reflects both our growing numbers and our growing aspirations on the world stage. It's not just a place where we do our best work; it's a destination.

What Our Campus
Means to Us

The Seattle campus speaks to the core of our identity as a travel company – based in the Northwest, yet consciously global in our outlook. Situated on 40 acres of Elliott Bay waterfront, our Seattle campus showcases many of the hallmarks of travel we love: trains, cruise ships, flights overhead, green spaces and multi-use trails. The new Seattle campus will provide an inclusive, enriching and dynamic workplace where employees can come together as one team to learn, grow and tackle some of the world's most interesting challenges.

The on-site marketplace will feature freshly-prepared food with plenty of seating.

Smaller cafes or “social points” will be spread throughout the campus. They will be set up to make it easy for you to get a quick snack or caffeine boost solo or with a colleague.

Food Trucks on campus will round out our multidimensional food offering.

Expedia Group is making improvements to the Elliott Bay Trail. The new and improved trail will separate pedestrians from other trail users, such as cyclists and skate boarders, and the curves of the path are being enhanced to maximize waterfront views and soften a currently sharp corner.

The Seattle Campus will feature an extensive bike room with 400 stall/locks. And if you really work up a sweat biking to work, there will be plenty of showers!

From walking meetings to private places for deep thoughts under a tree, the 40 acres along the waterfront have plenty of space to suit your diverse needs during any given day. Wi-Fi will be reliable indoors and outdoors so virtual calls and other online collaboration will remain seamless.

Sports fields will be available for those who want to step up your "game" and connect with other employees who share your athletic interests!

The building layout is intentionally horizontal, not vertical, and features the highest accessibility standards throughout the campus. The maximum height of buildings at the new campus is three stories.

Expedia Group is growing, both in terms of employees and our aspirations. The new Seattle campus gives us the space we need as we add new people and provides a unique location meant to inspire. Consistent with Expedia Group's mission to bring the world within reach, our new campus is intentionally designed to facilitate collaboration and innovation.

Most employees will move to the new Seattle campus by the end of 2019.

While most of the seating is assigned, there are many options to flex to various needs, including open, collaborative areas to quiet nooks for concentration.

As part of our commitment to minimizing our single occupancy commutes, we were glad to see Sound Transit propose a Smith Cove station on Elliott Avenue that would serve not only the thousands of Expedia employees and guests commuting to campus daily, but a growing neighborhood and thriving small business cluster. Given the geographic breadth of where employees are commuting from, our interests go beyond Smith Cove and our concern for transportation is region-wide.

Yes, paid daily onsite parking will be available. We'll continue to put incentives in place to encourage employees to reduce traffic by carpooling, taking the bus, biking to work, etc. Additionally, there will be 51 electric vehicle charging stations and 142 rideshare parking stalls available.
